New Project Award At Salem State

WLF is pleased to announce that Lee Kennedy Co., Inc. of Quincy, MA recently awarded our firm the contract for the site work related to the construction of the new library and learning commons at Salem State University.


The scope of work includes excavation and disposal of 15,000 CY of soil and rock to make way for the below grade portions of the new building. The scope of work also includes installation soiling nailing for excavation support, drilling and blasting, and installation of new utilities and site improvements. This project is slated to begin in July 2011 and be completed in the Spring of 2013.

Candidate must have a minimum of five years experience in urban site construction; including mass excavation, contaminated soils, excavation support and utility work.

Introduction to the 93 Fast 14

W. L. French Excavating Corporation is under contract with
J. F. White Contracting, Co. to haul the precast concrete for the bridges, otherwise known as the "Fast 14, Rapid Bridge Replacement."
